Background and historical steps

 In the 1990’s: several informal philosophical communities emerged in Moscow, including some with online activities
 2002: a «philosophy workshop» started working at the Philosophy Department of Moscow State University
 January 2004: Alexey Blinov and Andrey Ushakov decided to organize an independent analytical «think tank»
 2004: a club-format group of thinkers sharing similar opinions worked together
 November 2004: beginning of the «Censura» network project
 February 2005: foundation of the «Social Design Corporation» non-profit partnership
